Using SWS Color Sets

Strata uses a set of 16 SWS custom colors extensively throughout all collections. The custom colors aid navigation and ensure that information is displayed consistently.

The colors alternate between light and dark shades and were chosen with accessibility for colorblind persons in mind.

To load the custom SWS color set:

  1. Ensure you have installed the SWS Extension.

  2. In REAPER, open a project.

  3. Right-click a track, and in the shortcut menu click Track color > SWS track color > Show color management. The SWS Color Management window opens.

  4. Click Load color set from file.

  5. Browse to the Strata <installation path>\Documentation directory to locate the .SWSColor files, which were downloaded the first time you downloaded a collection. Note, the installation path is defined in the Launcher at the top of the Strata page.

  6. Select the .SWSColor file relevant to your operating system and click Open. The colors are assigned to the 16 custom color slots.
