To facilitate time alignment in both linear media and non linear systems, all
region layers related to a sound start at the same point on the timeline. Some
of the regions therefore include some silence at the beginning.
There are many ways to render the Propulsion Fly sounds and set up Wwise
Sounds. Beyond the scope of this document. To create an effect in Wwise that is similar
to the Propeller effect in the REAPER project using ENRAGE, you can use an LFO with an
RTPC to modulate the depth and frequency of the LFO.
The following example demonstrates a Propeller emulation technique in
Wwise:
Render the sounds with the Depth Control at 100% and the Propeller
Control at 0%. Tracks 10, 11, and 12 are the tracks that are set up by default
to generate the propeller layers.
After you import the sounds to Wwise, add them to a Blend Container
and add an LFO in the RTPC panel to control the volume.
-
Create an RTPC.
-
Configure the track blending to crossfade and control the volume of
the sounds using the RTPC.
-
Configure the LFO to control the Depth and Frequency of the
LFO.
