NX audio device notification registration failed, output format changes will not be detected.

This error is extremely rare and usually means that there is a hardware or operating system problem on the Switch. However, the only side effect is that the audio output format will not automatically change if the user changes it in the console's System Audio Properties.

Recommended resolution steps:

  • Reboot the console.
