Monitor Queue full. Increase the size of uMonitorQueuePoolSize. Message size ... bytes.

The Monitor Queue, used by the Wwise Profiler, is full and could not contain one message. The only side effect of this error is a missing message in the Wwise Profiler.

Probable causes:

  • When using API profiling, this can occur if there is a burst of API calls in a very short period.

  • The monitoring thread could not be run in time due to thread priorities on the same CPU core.

Recommended resolution steps:

  • Increase AkInitSettings::uMonitorQueuePoolSize.

  • Call AK::SoundEngine::RenderAudio more regularly to avoid bursts of API calls.

  • Using a CPU profiler, validate the thread priorities of all threads sharing the same CPU core.
