Release Notes 2021.1.14.8108.2656

Each version of this integration matches a specific build of Unreal Engine. Here is what has changed in the 2021.1.14.8108.2656 release of the integration (in addition to upgrading to the new Unreal build).

Note:
This integration does not support experimental Unreal Engine features.
Note:
This integration was compiled against Unreal Engine versions 4.26, 4.27, 5.1, 5.2, and 5.3. It was tested against Unreal Engine 4.27.2 and 5.3.1. Any major Unreal Engine version more recent than the aforementioned is not currently supported, but will be in a subsequent patch release.

  • WG-67089 Added support for Unreal Engine 5.3.

Miscellaneous Changes

  • WG-66542 Wwise Unreal Integration requires Audiokinetic Launcher 2023.1.1 or later.
  • WG-66817 Default Visual Studio version for Windows is now 2022.

Bug Fixes

  • WG-63820 Fixed: Unreal crash in UpdateConnectedRooms when calling open/close portal during level streaming.
  • WG-66661 Fixed: (Spatial Audio) Late Reverb components placed on a Box Collision have the wrong volume.
  • WG-67418 Fixed: Unreal crash when performing an undo action after adding a level inside another one.
  • WG-68221 Fixed: Crash in switch container loading when changing levels.

Fixes for Community-Reported Bugs

  • WG-58615 Fixed: Crash on invalid weak pointer when using Event-Based Packaging.
  • WG-64770 Fixed: BulkDataIORequest leak in UAkMediaAsset.
  • WG-66952 Fixed: Missing "Mixed" DurationType when trying to determine the length of a Switch Container that is causing a hang.
