Version
The sound engine could not seek in a Vorbis encoded source. The Vorbis codec is a variable bit rate codec; therefore, to seek to a specific position, you need a seek table.
Probable causes:
An Event with the Seek Action was posted for a Vorbis encoded sound without a seek table.
A call to
AK::SoundEngine::SeekOnEvent
on a Vorbis encoded sound without a seek table.
For a Vorbis encoded sound without a seek table, its virtual voice behavior (in Advanced Settings) is set to Play from elapsed time .
Your sound is shorter than the seek table granularity.
Recommended resolution steps:
Add a seek table in the Conversion Settings of the sound.

The adding of a seek table is almost always the answer to this problem. Be very cautious in applying the other solutions listed below, especially in changing the virtual settings. |
Change the codec type in the Conversion Settings of the sound.
Change the virtual voice behavior in the Advanced Settings of the sound to something other than Play From Elapsed Time.
Set the seek table granularity to a lower number of frames or choose a ShareSet with a small frame size.
Avoid seeking on this sound.
