External Sources Tab

In the External Sources tab of the Project Settings dialog box, you can specify the location of the external sources list file. This special XML file contains information about the audio files that will be used by the Wwise External Source plug-in, including their location and Conversion Settings. You also need to specify the output folder where the external source audio files will be saved for use in your game.

Description

Input Path

Click the Configure Columns... shortcut (right-click) option from the column header band.

The Configure Columns Dialog opens. Specify which columns to display and their order.

Platform

The names of the various platforms that are currently active in your project.

External Sources List

The full path where the external source list file is located.

This XML file contains information about the external sources, including their location and the Conversion Settings that will be used to convert the file.

(Browse)

Opens a Windows browser where you can navigate to and select the external sources list file.

Output Path

Click the Configure Columns... shortcut (right-click) option from the column header band.

The Configure Columns Dialog opens. Specify which columns to display and their order.

Platform

The names of the various platforms that are currently active in your project.

External Sources Output Folder

The folder where the converted external sources will be output.

(Browse)

Opens the Browse For Folder dialog box where you can navigate to the folder where the converted external audio sources will be saved.

 

Closes the Project Settings dialog box and saves your settings.

Closes the Project Settings dialog box without saving your settings.
