API Calls

The Advanced Profiler - API Calls tab displays information about API calls made at a particular time.

info	Profiling API Calls is not available on PS3, Wii U, and Xbox 360.

Interface Element

Description

Opens a search field where standard alphanumeric entries filter out unmatching elements from the view. Learn more in Using Tables.

Click the Close icon to the left of the search icon to close the search field and remove the filter.

info	Note
info	The searches do not include elements in collapsed nodes of the List View, Query Editor, MIDI Keymap Editor, and Reference View.

Click the Configure Columns... shortcut (right-click) option from the column header band.

The Configure Columns Dialog opens. Specify which columns to display and their order.

API Call Time

The exact time, down to the millisecond, in the capture session that the call occurred.
Format: hh:mm:ss.sss

API Function Name

The name of the functions called at that precise API Call Time.

check_circle	The Copy to Clipboard shortcut menu option is a quick and easy way to copy an API function name into the SDK documentation's search field.

Total Call

The number of open calls to the function.
