Platform Management

Countless games have been developed for multiple platforms, but it’s rarely a simple task to implement from scratch, as every operating system has been built for a different purpose. Take a look around in a public environment and look at everyone’s mobile phones. There might be a majority of a certain type, but generally there’s just a lot of different phones. In every game production, you have to agree on what platforms your game is developed for; but, with middleware like Wwise or game engines like Unity, a lot of the background work is already in place. In this lesson, you’ll learn how to add and manage platforms, but also customize the content in Wwise, depending on the device performance resources.

[Note]

Although critical content has been updated to reflect major changes in Wwise, some images might still show the 2019.1 version. These minor discrepancies won't affect your understanding of Wwise features and usability. In the near future, all visual elements will be up to date.
