You can connect to a game locally, but you can also connect to another device on the same network. For example, if you have a mobile device with a build of WAG, you can connect to it from your laptop and monitor performance. Let’s connect to a remote device.
This exercise will briefly explain how to connect to a Mobile device. For information on deploying a game to a mobile device, please refer to the Unity documentation. |
-
Open WAG on a secondary device (like a mobile device or a different computer).
-
In the Wwise toolbar, click the Remote button.
-
Open the Remote Connections dialog, select the Wwise Adventure Game in the list, then click Connect.
You’ve now connected to the game on a remote device. If you’re on a public network, consider switching to your mobile hotspot, as the network might not allow for these types of connections.
