Markus studied electrical and sound engineering and finished his Ph.D. on auralization, acoustic virtualization, and perceptually-optimized binaural rendering in 2020. In the same year, he and his colleagues started a new endeavour and founded atmoky, a company with the mission to enable hyper-realistic spatial audio experiences.
